I have noticed ads for the flight sim "Cockpit Master" by Machine Works. Has anyone had experience with this particular sim? The price seems too good to be true. Any help, hints or tips would be appreciated.

I downloaded their demo a while back and could not get it to work properly no matter how much I tried. I sent a message to their tech support politely outlining my problems and they answered me quickly. They basically called me an idiot and told me that if I wanted something better I should spend the money and buy Realflight. I did and have been happy ever since. I will never give a good recommendation for a company that treats me like that and I will warn anyone I can about them. That was my experience. A woman scorned and all that.

I have one of the original Cockpit Master sims, before they cut all the Multiplex planes out of it. I liked it a lot and the multiplayer sailplane slope soaring combat was great, until they cut that too. They made all sorts of promises to us about heli's and new planes and while they did put a few planes up for download they really dissapointed me with not keeping their promises. Since they cut the on-line function, I stopped using it and bought Real Flight G2 and am so much happier with everything from graphics, sounds, realizism, number of planes, and all the features.

NitroWoman and Jason,
Thanks for the insight. That was very helpful information and I will definitely not pursue the purchase of Cockpit Master. I will, however, check out Realflight, as you both suggested.
