Hello, I installed the Realflight G2 onto my computer. While running the sim it would eventually freeze my computer so hard that I would have to restart it by cutting the power. I tried everything I could think of on screen res, and even taking all the 3d stuff out of the background. A few computer friends told me I needed a more powerful graphics card, so I went out and bought a nvidia gforce 4 today. I installed the card, drivers, and direct X. But now when I go to play the sim the screen just turns white. I can hear the plane in the background and I can control the plane with the controller but all I see is a white screen. Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this? My computer is an HP 750N, it has 512 ram, 1.6 GHz and 80 gb hard drive. Could use all the help I can get. Thank you very much.

My friend bought the same graphics card and had the same problem. It turns out he had an older version of G2. if you are Registered you must download the free update to gix it. Run the real flight G2 CD and when the control panel pops up click on update realflight. That you get you going. My friend called teck support about this problem and that is what they told him to do. It worked.

Hi Garrett,
Have you been able to get G2 working right yet? I had the same problem with the nvidia card so used a different card that has worked fine. Hopefully, yours will work fine after the G2 online upgrade. Good luck

If you have sound and a white screen, I'm guessing the fog is turned on. Try turning off the fog (for some reason, it seems to be loaded as a default). Hope this solves your problem!
