Default Need help, CSM version 9

The sim worked excellent for a long time but then the plane wouldn't refill after pushing the "r" key; kept running out of fuel after a short period of time. Checked tank capacity in the main menu, (OK); recalibrated transmitter, still would only fly for a short period of time. A friend suggested that Norton System Works (pro) is not allowing the sim to work properly, suggested unistalling Norton. Haven't done that yet but did unistall the sim and went to reinstall from the floppy and am getting a run-time error. The friend says the floppy disk is bad. Can it somehow be repaired? Should I send it back to Horizon for repair? Or should I unistall Norton? I am hesitant to unistall Norton. Please advise
and thank you for your time and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

You can download a fresh copy of ver 9 from here [link]http://www.rcmodels.org/csm/[/link]
( scroll to the bottom of the "simulators" page )
Have you tried installing the software from "Safe Mode".
I've had to do this to skirt Norton's & other simular software.
Check your Windows help files for instructions on starting in safe mode.
