Default 3D learning on G3: advice

8 months since I started the hobby. Used G3 for additional training + buddy box to get soloed.
4 months ago graduated to modified, clipped wing SIG Four Star 60 with a ST 90. Great second airplane.
Just bought a soloed a QQ Yak 54 -72 inch. with Evolution 26 GT gasser.
All I can say is wow! This 3D stuff is another world! Did OK on the two maidens yesterday even though I was pretty frazzled.
Now to my question:
I've got a considerable amount of material on how to do 3D manuevers. I've ready where G3 may not be the best, realistic 3D trainer, however, I'm staying with it.

WHAT AIRPLANES DO I USE TO LEARN 3D ON G3?

Use the Yak in G3 and go to the G3 swap pages and check out all the planes available there.

I think the Yak with 3D throws works pretty well. (not with gyro's, you'll never learn anything)

I also think the newer planes available on the G3 expansion & the ones available on knife edge software's forums are pretty darn good. I've only played with AFPD a couple times, but in my opinon the newer G3 planes were just as good.

I personally fly with the 40% carden Edge that I d'loaded from their forums & it flies very close to my 30% Edge.

I actually like using the Extra Special flattie. It has flap coupling, and it's easy to do 3D with it.
