I'm having trouble with the gear staying down, it auto retracts and stays there, as soon as I turn on the radio. I have tried different switches. Any help. I e-mailed Knife edge on responce.

Do you happen to have channel 5 NULLed? In that case the gear may default up and there's nothing you can do about it. Try going to your aux channel menu, assigning channel 5 to one of the switches, and experiment with that. Just something to try.
