After reading thru all these posts the only conclusion I can come up with is THEY ARE STANDING GOOD FOR THE PRODUCT. In the real world how many times have you had a defective product with very poor customer support? Does your doctor guarantee that the medicine will cure you and the pharmacy give free replacement medicine if your prescription doesn't work? I don't think so.

In my opinion the difference between a good company and a bad one is customer support. Most of the time we never have a problem but when we do, that makes the difference.

I just purchased a G3.5 and if I do have any problems I'm glad to know GP will take care of it. So if it does take a few days, it's not like having the refrigerator going out or the heating system down. It won't kill me. How often do we have to wait days or weeks just to fly due to weather?

I got my controller back from great planes yesterday. They just replaced the whole kit. I am happy they did not send me the old one back. I feared it would mess up again. I am very happy with it now.

I have enjoyed my G3.5 since the day it arrived. I'm less than a year old in the hobby and the first TX I bought was a Futaba 6EXA. Compared to the JR I have bought since then the Futaba feels light and cheap. I flew a few times at first with the supplied interlink but since then I just plug my everyday TX in to it and have been flying with it. What I like is I can plug either my JR or Futaba real world TX's into it with no problems and get to practice with the actual TX I use when I fly the real thing. I agree that the interlink feels cheap but feels no different from the 6EXA i pad almost $200 for. I guess I have "Felt the Difference" cuase I prefer my JR over the Futaba anyday, but have plenty of friends who fly nothing but Futaba and they swear by them. IMHO I feel it's a matter of personal preference.

Hi!.

I had the same problem, the aileron centering plastic holder broke, i fixed it myself. Actually, the futaba skysport4 has the same mechanics. And the supplied cable doesn´t work correctly with my graupner mx-12. But it´s still a great program, and the rest of the interlink works ok. The great feature is that you can download more planes there.[8D]

.................................................. ................................................. Seems to me if it appears to be a simple mechanical design flaw of a small plastic spring retainer then why not improve upon the design and fix it yourself. I have done this many times with great success by simply drilling a small hole in the gimbal housing and installing a small steel pin with a notch to secure the spring with no problem what so ever. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ................

I just sent my controller in to have it fixed. I had the exact same problem. I hope realflight gets this resolved.
