Most RC transmitters aren't designed to do anything with a pc, Windows operating system or whatever. Or should that be said differently..... Windows isn't designed to discover unknown periperals and sort out what they are and what they are supposed to be doing with the pc.
Software is written to make special purpose hardware work with pc's. It usually comes with something like G3.5 or FSOne's packages. Those packages not only have the software that prepares the pc's OS for a special peripheral but also an application to use it.
You need something more than a connection to the pc.
The usual process is to install appropriate software before trying to use unique hardware.

Besides all that, XP being a derivative of the old Windows NT, the parallet ports are NOT setup to communicate with the OS. That's pretty much restricted to outgoing data, not incoming. You need either a serial port or USB interface for the XP to recognize stuff as well as the other things da Rock mentioned...

Bah, I was hoping it would work because i got Easysim and easy fly with my helicopter and was hoping to be able to play around on them and also FMS. I guess ill just buy Reflex, because cables from MileHighWings will cost me about $100 for my radios.
