How about some details about your connection method and system, then we can go from there. Who is your ISP, what kind of bandwidth do you get, do you have a router...

I have Bellsouth DSL. It's a PPPoE connection. Yes I have a router. The router is a Linksys and it has this computer and one other hooked up to it.

Default SoLoBoY

Remember. In the router ya gatta set the DMZ to the right IP thats on your puter. I forgot to do that after I installed a new router last week And guess what? I went into multi-player. And everybody was leaving or couldn't find a player yadda yadda yadda. And I went into the router fixed my setting and ALL IS GOOD NOW>

Default Your Linksys

and if both computers are running
ONE will be 192.168.1.2
THE OTHER will be 192.168.1.3

what is the DMZ? And our computers pick up their own ISP addresses. So no we did not assign ports on our router.

Default Connection Prob

I was having the same prob. I'm also using a Linksys router. I didn't have to fool with the DMZ to get mine to work, only update my DirectX.

Now I can fly like a wooden bird, when I can find someone on to fly with.

Hope this helps.
