I have just bought my son a RC Helicopter and Sanwa RD6000 RC.
Before he tries to fly it we would like to practice on some PC software.
My PC is running Windows XP
Does anybody know how to make a cable?
What is the best free software to use?
I have a copy of FMS at present

Sanwa can use the same cable as Futaba, just a different connector.
You can't make a simple cable for FMS under XP (read posts here, this question has been discussed many times). There's a guy in UK who sells TX-to-gameport interfaces (again, search posting in this forum).
FMS is probably not very good for helies. People say that flying helies in FMS is way too easy. Another decent free sim is PRE-Flight. Not sure how realisticly are helies modeled there...
