Default Twinstar problem

I cna land everything else fine, piece of cake. I cannot land the twinstar for the life of me. I've even switched to in cockpit view, and landed it with the TRIM, and it will still crash.

What gives?

Are there any other twins out there that I can DL?
I don't have any add-ons.

Good luck!

Default yea

I'm trying different approach speeds, but still the same thing. It touches down, then crashes. I've landed it twice with the elevator TRIM control, I mean GREASED it in, and it still wrecks..
Perhaps my dreams of building a P38 are fadeing away...

Default Make the landing gear taller

Make a copy of the plane and then edit the landing gear taller. Some how they missed the set up on this one. It worked for me.

Default yup

That fixed it. Wow, twinstars with 23lb turbine engines in them are fast.

On a serious note, the turbine models SOUND so good. It's too bad you need to bring 5,000$ to the plate to even think about entering that side of RC. Maybe in the future, the prices will come down a bit.

Thanks Trumpy,

I couldn't land that puppy either without crashing. The "keep the speed up and grease it in" worked for me once or twice, but ghee whiz, nothing should be that hard to land! I assumed it was me cauz surel GP wouldn't get it wrong (wrong!).

well if u want to.............................. there is a cheat to fix the landing crash on one of the G2 unofficial swap sites. I saw it under the new Beachcraft Bonanza scheme.

Me i like to do it the hard way, Maybe the real thing is like that and u might have to tweak the gear on it too.

Go to Miscellaneous and adjust landing's easier than changing aircraft unless you want to change it . You can adjust where it lands every time unless you stick in the ground.
