Greetings,
I have a Towerhobbies 6 chanel radio (round trainer plug) that I got as
part of a LT40 combo kit.
I want to connect my radio to my computer (running XP) using my USB
interface. Computer does not have serial port (most new computers don't).
anybody want to recommend where I can buy the cable?
thanks in advance.
<I have searched the forums. Chatter regarding FMS, etc is heavy and
I didn't really find a clear answer to this>

When I did a search using "Flight Simulator USB Cable" ebay came back with matches that specified ..."RC Helicopter Controller"
Example:
http://search.ebay.com/search/search...&fsop=1&fsoo=1
Does this mean it is set up for specific controllers for helicopters only? Or will this work with my JR XP-652 controller, even though I use it for my planes?

I have the same radio and bought my USB cable off of eBay from Tom's RC...he has several cables listed. Get the optional (free) CD and you will get tons of landscapes and models on the CD but you will have to dig to find ones that suit you. One thing I didn't like about the cable was the small component box mounted in-line on the cable...it is mounted closer to the radio end of the cable instead of the PC end of the cable.

This is what I bought, they accepted an offer of $3, plus $15 for shipping = $18. About as cheap as you can find on Ebay.

This is the same cord that I just ordered from a different vendor (RVMshop) on ebay in Honk Kong. Did it end up working? How long did it take to arrive, because I ordered mine last Friday, and I still don't have a shipping confirmation.

It could be there's just something wrong with my PC settings, etc. but I've been busy and haven't had time to troubleshoot it yet.
Good luck with yours.

I bought one of these cables and I have it for Futaba and JR. It works great but I bought FS ONE.
If anyone wants to buy it off me...let me know. I'll sell it for what I paid $17.00 shipped.
