Hi there,
I have FSOne, absolutely love it.
Just a couple of questions though:
1. In the lessons you can show the TacCon transmitter on screen to see the instructors inputs. Is it possible to have this displayed as a Mode 1 TacCon controller as opposed to the Mode 2 TacCon? I cannot seem to find anywhere to do this.
2. I have unchecked the "Use Mode 2 Configuration" in the Options screen but cannot for the life of me determine what difference this has made.
Here in New Zealand we are mostly Mode 1 fliers. I use a Mode 1 Futaba and find it hard trying to visualize the inputs in Mode 1 that the instructor is doing on screen in Mode 2.
Cheers

Ok I have just read that if you are using your own Mode 1 controller the TacCon in the lessons can only be displayed in Mode 2?
It would be nice if there was accommodation for us Mode 1 users around the world. We don't all use Mode 2.
Cheers

Lol, that's something I've been asking for for 5 months!!! You wouldn't think it would be that hard to do. Maybe they're stretched to the limit trying to get this add-on released. Either that or they don't care about us non-US users...

Hey cobull,
Do you know then what the option is under "Options" "Use Mode 2 Configuration"..... I would have thought maybe it would have benefited us Mode 1 users in some way but I think I've wasted valuable flying time trying to figure out what. There doesn't seem to be any indication in the latest help file as to what this setting effects.... the best I can assume is that it is for if your using a Mode 1 TacCon. ---- Which I'm not, I've got my Mode 1 Futaba hooked in.
Cheers

Correct, the setting is for Mode 1 TacCon controllers.

Thanks for the reply.
I'm assuming you read my prior posts here and where the question about the Option setting stems from.
Fingers crossed having onscreen TacCon for Mode 1 is on your task list as I would assume there are many Mode 1 users out there like myself who have bought this product for it's ability to teach aerobatics. Having the onscreen TacCon is great if your a Mode 2 user, why should Mode 1 users be disadvantaged? Lessons was one of the key factors I took into account when purchasing this product.
Obviously I'm referring to if you are using your own RC controller like I am, not the TacCon.

I have no idea what that "Use Mode 2 Configuration" check box does. I'm using a mode 1 TacCon and the tx overlay is always mode 2 regardless of whether that box is checked or not. Both in the training and if you press "e" in general flying.
