I was going to ask if anyone had ever used G2 on the internet to hook up with other people.
I see at the top of this forum that you can set up a connection from within here.
Going to give that a try.

I do it all the time!! It's great fun to watch other people fly, and see how good (or bad) they are at flying! Go for it!! It's a blast!

Can you give me a quik and dirty run down on how to connect.
I have entered the IP but it just sits there and nothing happens.

I'm not at home, right now... (still at work!!! Yuck!) Do you have a firewall running where your at? If so, you need to open some ports on the firewall to let the G2 Sim connect correctly...
Not sure what the ports numbers are, I sure you can find them here on rcuniverse, or at the G2 website. If you not running a firewall all you should have to do is scan for any running games, then when it finds one, click on the session you want to connect with and click connect, it screen should go back to the flying area with other people flying around also!

If you can figure out what port numbers to use, I would like to know them too. I think it's something in my router, but have never been able to enter a port number that worked.

I'm not sure if the port number is something that should be available via G2, or something that is specific to the router or modem that I am using.

Would be greatful for any info anyone might have.

Thanks,

Bob

I get a blue screen every time and the computer locks up.
I am thinking it is for sure a port problem.
