I'm still having G2 Multiplayer Disconnect problems.I got a high speed cable connection.Could it be because some users are hosting with a slower dialup connection. If I'm the only player I don't have the problem. When I get disconnected is when I join with Multiple players.

I can't answer your question, but I have one for you. How did you get on Multiplayer?
I have a system in my house (AT&T) with a good modem as well as a Router. I can see sessions in progress, but I can never connect to them.
Did you ever have this problem? If so, how did you solve it?
Thanks,
Bob

What type of connection do you have. DSL, Cable, Dialup. Also what is your latest version of G2 and is it the full version?. Mine works good and I have version #2.00.592. If you need more detail let me know and I will step you through it.

Thanks for the reply. I should have the latest and greatest. I have all 4 update CD's and have kept up with the software upgrades (it asks me every 30 days or so, and I upload whatever is there).
I have a Motorola Surfboard cable modem (the one that AT&T recommended) and a router.
I have tried various port numbers but either I have used the wrong port numbers, or I am not putting them where I should.
I am worried that I have to disable the firewall in order to get in and out of the modem (or router - whichever is causing the problem).
Does that give you any ideas?
Thanks for helping,
Bob
