Default Phoenix & DX7

This is a bit of a long shot but thought someone may have experienced it before.

I am using a Spektrum DX7 and based my controller setup on copy of the Spektrum controller profile already saved in the Phoenix simulator. I have activated flaperons in the DX7 transmitter menu and assigned this to the mode switch (normal=0, mode1=50%, mode2 =100% flaps).

Ailerons operate as they should in normal mode and in mode1 and mode2 they operate the flaps in the two stages, but the left aileron goes up and the right goes down.

In the profile aileron is assigned to channel 2 and I’ve tried assigning various transmitter channels to flaps, and inverted the travel, but nothing seem to make both flaps/ailerons move in the same direction.

Any ideas on how to get the flaps to trave in the same direction.

cheers

David

Flaperons are when you have two servos individually controlling each aileron surface via two channels.

The phoenix planes I have looked at only have a single channel to both aileron surfaces. So you can't use flaperons.

Thanks Kevin

What I didn't mention is that I have contacted Phoenix as well and they said they would pass it on to their development team which sort of suggests that the sim may not be capable of accepting flaperons this stage like you said.

i was hoping it was something I was doing wrong but it looks like it might have to be a software re-write to get it to work. I will post the response I get from Phoenix in case someone else is interested.
