Default New to Airplanes...

I have been considering the purchase of a airplane. I have not yet picked my first plane but I did go buy G4 Sim. I have been playing with that for a few days and have some questions. I have a 17" monitor and almost everytime I fly a plane it takes no time till I cant see it well enough to fly it smoothly. Is this the way it is in real flight or is it harder to see on the monitor?
Would a bigger monitor help?

I know my eyes are bad but I dont think they are that bad... If this is realistic I might have re consider my purchase...

I changed my view to the chase mode where I did better flying but is this view really teaching me anything about RC flight? Considering I will not be in that view while flying a RC plane?
Thank you for your help....

In real life, when flying a real plane, you count slowly to five and then you must make a turn or you will lose the plane.

First, I'd go to the eye doctor and make sure everything was okay there. Then I'd find a club with an instructor and see if they could give you some demo flights on a trainer. Both before and after, I'd sit around and watch what's going on and then make a decision.

After you begin flying you'll be able to determine your plane's attitude by it's responses at times.

Best of luck.
