Default Changing Realflight G3 virtual instructors Tx mode

Hi folks. Is it possible to change the mode of the Tx shown when using the virtual instructors in Realflight G3? We use mode 1 here but the virtual instructors Tx is displayed as Mode 2. I have been using G3 for some time now and had no problems mapping my Tx to my Mode 1, but now my flat mate is interested in learning to fly R/c and the virtual instructors appeal to him- but they only show mode 2 movements on the virtual Tx. Anyone...?

Cheers.

Hi Scotts Billy,

i live in the Netherland and fly with mode1 myself.
So i've experienced the same problem with G3.5, while training some skills with the Virtual Flight Instructor.

In order to get an decent answer to this problem, i mailed to support on the site. As soon as i wil get an answer i wil post it in here to inform you also OK ?

Ciao,

Menno

Thanks Menno

May just do the same thing. Haven't up to now as I have heard many complaints from some in the past with technical support for G1 and G2. Due to only having dial up internet access I have not run the 3.5 update.

I suspect that the answer to my/our question is it can't be done, what with there being separate mode 1 and mode 2 versions of Realflight G3.

Let me know how you get on.

Cheers.

Hey Scotts Billy,

i got a mail form support with my answer, but in the meantime i had figured it out by myself ...

Make sure that the radio is shown in your screen (View -> Gadgets -> Radio)
In the same menu you can choose the mode (View -> Gadgets -> Radio Mode (Gadget Only))

I hope it will work for you, because i use G3.5.

Grtz,
Menno

Hi Menno

Yes, have only just back and back to the Realflight. With the help of a friend with DSL I managed to get the 3.5 upgrade and it worked just as you said it would. Beautifullly.

Thanks for the help. Turned out to be the prod I needed to arrange the 3.5 upgrade.

Cheers.
