Anybody out their that has the RealFlight G4 your opinions would help. I'm hoping to get the G4 for x-mas and just wanted to hear about it from the people that use it rather than read all about it in the magazine ads.

The thread, "RealFlight G4 Coming" has 3 pages of descriptions by people who've got it.
I got it and am quite pleased. It comes with about 55-60 airplanes, don't know how many choppers. And I installed the Expansion packs I'd gotten to plug into G3 and picked up about 13 planes with each one of them.
I like the addition of the float flying planes. And have been learning to fly 3D with the foamies. Somehow they seem perfect inside the gym. I'd never considered building one until one night when I switched to the gym and one of those flatthings. They've got a ton of those things to try.
All in all, I'd say you got an excellent Christmas present coming.
BTW, crank up the turbulence and always add some wind when you're "outside". Most people who've never flown a sim usually have a first reaction after they've gotten used to the sim. They usually say it's not as unpredictable flying as they see at their flying fields. It's because the airplanes are perfectly trimmed in the sims. And unless you add some weather, there won't be any.
Nice present to look forward to.
