Real Flight G2 Invalid Page Fault
Hi All,
I'm running Real Flight G2 with version .327 -tired to update to latter versions but too many problems so I'm back to .327. Using my own transmitter (Futaba Super 8) through printer port adapter. Whenever I attempt to use the Set-Up radio feature from within the program I get an invalid page fault error forcing me to reboot in order to get Real Flight to run again. This happened prior to the update debacle but never quite as frequently. The error doesn't happen immediately but waits until I get a couple of things assigned or changed from within the program then BAM! Sort of frustrating. Anyone else had the problem? My brother in law did but we attributed his problems to running XP. I'm running Win 98.

IM HAVING A DELEMA TO WITH MY G2 ON WINDOWS 98,MY SUGESTION WOULD BE TO STAY WITH THE .327 AND DON'T UP DATE TO A NEWER VERSION.I TRIED AND ENDED UP GETTING A FATAL ERROR AND FINALY COULDNT RUN MY G2 AT ALL.THE THE TECHS AT GP AND HAVE THEM WORK YOUR PROBLEMS OUT ON THE PHONE.HOPE YOU GET YOUR G2 UP AND RUNNING.IM STILL WITH OUT MINE AND WAITING FOR THE MOST UP DATE VERSION OF G2 TO ARRIVE.BELIEVE ME ITS FRUSTRATING.

Real Flight G2 Invalid Page Fault
I don't have G2, and thus haven't used this feature. But, from a general software perspective, make sure you have the most up to date drivers for your sound and video card. Also, be sure you have the latest version of directX (ver 8.1). The next problem you could be having is conflicts with other software. Try pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL, and ending all programs except Explorer, and Systray. Now, try running the program. Let me know how it goes... Finally (after all else fails) a good clean reinstall of Windows usually fixes everything : )
