Default AeroFly Pro with Airtronics Tx?

Hello all...

Is anyone currently using AeroFly Pro with an Airtronics Tx? I have an RD6000 Sport and am looking for a flight sim to practice with. I have read only good things about AFP but am confused whether or not it works with Airtronics. The mannual says yes, and yet any advertising I have read mentions all other brands EXCEPT Airtronics.

So, anyone out there running this with my Tx type please let me know so I can go ahead and get my copy!

Cheers,

John

If you obtain a legal copy of AFP (i.e., the software and AFP serial interface), you can connect any third-party TX-to-PC interface and control AFP with your transmitter. I've done this with a TX-to-Gameport interface from here:
www.milehighwings.com

Hope this helps,
Boris

I use an old Airtronics FM radio that works with the adapter that is used with the AFP interface. This is a 1/8 plug to six pin din adapter that the airtronics radio uses. VG6DR Vanguard FM radio about 10 yrs old. I don't know if newer Airtronics use a different plug or still have the DIN jack.

ArmourGod,
I've been thinking about buying Aerofly pro. What do you think?
It sounds like you and I live fairly close. What a coincidence if that were true.

I think we should forget about "the game" and go fly. What do think? NOT
