It'll run fine. I have everything you listed except that my processer is an 800 instead of 700 and it works fine (except my mobo overheats at the slightest thought of graphics and shuts down, but that has nothing to do with G2)

What video card are you using? or you have on board video? and how much memory for video.
I'm using a TNT Pro W/Invidia chipset 32MB and the graphics are great at 800x600 res. I'm also using the latest Invidia Detenator Drivers.

I normally run a AMD Athlon 2100+ with 1.5GB ram and 64MB GeForce card, but of course the day I got my G2 it died. Now I built up all my parts into a 800MHz Duron and it runs fine. I also play other games online and alt-tab and fly around when it's doing stuff.
Hope that helps ya

Hi Whirleybird,
Yes it realy does run!!...admitadly with some detail turned of as i only want it for aerobatic practise when the weathers rubbish!
The full specs are:
Sony VAIO PCG-FX401 (about 1.5 years old...soo ancient!)
800Mhz Duron
128mb RAM
ATI 8mb 3d Rage mobility graphics card
14.1" screen
Oh and i got the USB version of G2 too.
If your up for buying a laptop use the specs above as a minimum but if your buying new the specs for them have just about doubled!!
Have fun

Hi all !
I just got (in my hand now) the fullset of RealFlight G2 w/USB interLink Mode2 (included add ons V1-2-3-4) from TowewHobbies for $273.95.
The TowerHobbies now on sale the G2/USB for $199 and have free add ons V1.
The package of V2-3-4 for $73.97.
Now I thinking to buy the video card for my computer or waiting for the money and buy the new Laptop...??????
Thanks to all...

If your set on buying a new video card....either one below should work just fine. I buy all of my computer components at Mwave. Good company and good prices. If your computer uses ****M then go for the first one. If you have DDR RAM look at the second one.

Price on 64mb vid cards is dropping fast. 128mb are quickly coming down as well.. 128mb are no longer the latest and greatest out there. I found a 128mb Nvida mis-priced at Wal-Mart. They don't pay attention to computer add-ons and it is worth a quick stop in to check.. Boxes for 64mb and 128's look similar so they often have them priced the same.
