Okay so I've just got my DX6i, and I'm looking for a suitable cable to hook it up.
Is there a cable I can get that will work with a variety of sims? (I would like to try a few before I buy one.)
At this stage I'm open to any of the better sims (ie. not E SKY). I'm primarily wanting it for planes, and something reasonably realistic.
Is there any cable/sim combination that works well with the DS6i?
Thanks for any help,
Ben

I understand that a stereo or mono (not sure which) headphone to headphone cable will work (the kind used to connect an iPod to a aux stereo port. Can get those from most any department store for couple dollars. Then you use a program that pulls the signal from the headphone jack of your computer and turns it into a controller signal. Hear it works pretty good, but can't remember the small freeware program needed to convert the signal. Maybe someone else can help with a name or link. It something like "PPLayer" or similiar.

Hi, look here: http://www.rc-discount.de/store/prod...roducts_id=643
I ordered one, they are specialy made for DX6i...
I did not have time to configure my DX6i to make it work with helis, but it just came to basically work for airplanes.
Just get the file "emu.exe" so G3 or G4 will recognize it like a G2 device, and you will have only to create a model in your DX6i.
I just got my DX6i few days ago, still in the owners manual to learn the basics...
Here is a way to help you and me [8D] to set this device: http://ironcreek.net/dx6i/
Good luck
