DX6 with Reflex sim. Help please

DX6 with Reflex sim. Help please
Hi.
I have got Reflex flight sim and a DX6 tx but I cannot get it to work with the sim. When I plug it in , it says please turn on transmitter.(even if I turn it on it doesn't work)
It says it can be used as a trainner, but on the 3.5mm jack it has written D.S.C. rather than trainner.
I all so have a Blade 400 so I have the TX from that DX6i tx and that works fine with the sim.
The only thing that I can think as to why it wont work with the DX6 is one is DSM1 and the other is DSM2.
Does anyone know if there is a way that I can get the older DX6 to work with the sim.
