You could try re-installing G2 to get the included planes back or try undeleting any planes from the recycle bin. I don't know why the planes would be disappearing. I haven't noticed any planes being deleted when I add one.

You have to reinstall. Mary Q from RF helped me thru and it was a reinstall that did it. Apaarently the .ini files gets curropt. I have G2 Lite so not too sure if this applies to you but I am in IT and this is ususally the fix. hope it works

yes you must uninstall. that way you get a clean reinstall. Also what os you running? win 98 or XP. If XP you need to shut down all programs that boot up. how? by task manager ->processes->end task all programs that have your user name next to it. This would apply in win2k too. Please read the uininstall messages carefully. I did not have to re register the software as everything reinstalled cleanly and all worked and was accounted for. Hopefully this does the trick for you.

I have XP and it is best to let the machine completely shut down before switching it off (everyday practise). I had to rush out one day and switched the machine off prematurely which curropted the .ini file. I wasnt even using real flight that day

Good luck

where do you live in Colorado? I went to school at DU (Denver University) and just love Denver and Colorado and all the people there. Sure miss living in the US.

Happy days

Default down under

not very different from the US (accept for the accents). I remember a sailor from a flattop (uss enterprise) describe OZ as a colonial version of the US!
In regards to stuff here we dont get much as the population is only around 20 million and therefore mass marketing is less of an option. However we can get anything we want(via internet). Also Australia has strict design and safety rules. So somethings(cars for instance) have to be slightly redesigned for local rules (which makes them costly). But SUV are cheaper here than the US (based on currency conversion).
My friend who is teaching me to fly imports kits and he gets harrassed from the customs as they want to know the origin of the Balsa wood. Sydney is a great place to live but getting very crowded as the secret is now out!

G'day buddy have to get back to work. Hope your sim works
