Default FS One TacCon-No Power

The price drop convinced me to give FS One a try.

I installed the game, plugged in the TacCon controller and saw no lights on the controller when I started the game (or before starting, for that matter.

Sure enough, the controller does nothing when the sticks are moved.

XP control panel shows FS One controller connected, but, trying to calibrate in Windows does nothing. I went thru the calibrate routine in the game as well but, it did not seem to anything, either.

I have plugged the controller in before booting the program...and have plugged it in before starting the computer.

I tried the usb ports on the rear of the computer as well as the ones on the front. These ports have no problem in powering by usb scanner when I plug it in so I believe the problem does not lie with the usb ports on my machine.

I sent a note seeking assistance to the contact on the FS One site last week end but did not receive a reply this week.

At the moment, I feel like I am in a vacuum and out $99. I have not tried the phone yet

Has anyone encountered this problem, and does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks, Steve

I would try calling Horizon Hobby since Hanger 9 is their brand.

Frank, Thanks for the dose of commonsense.

I guess I am getting to old to think clearly.

I did call, and Horizon is sending me another unit. Nice service on their part.

Never did receive a reply from FS One.

Received my new controller and it worked I fly even worse than I used to so the physics appear good so far.

Thank you, Horizon, for great customer service.[sm=thumbs_up.gif]
