I'm trying to hook up my transmitter to fms, but it's not working. I just bought the usb/tx interface cable but it appears as though the tx is not being recognized. Whenever I try to calibrate, nothing happens.
Iv'e done some searching, but can't figure out my problem. Iv'e already tried two transmitters- my hitec optic 6 and a laser 4. Same problem.
Any help?
Thanks!

Have a look in windows control panel under game controllers, there should be a device there for the interface. You will need to calibrate it there before loading FMS, and once it comes up you might have to remap the axes as well.

I've had all sorts of problems with trying to get FMS working with MS-VISTA. Still not successful, though I haven't tried the game controller set up yet. What operating system are you on? Rich

I already have fms working on my computer, but only with keyboard. I'm on vista.
As for the game controllers menu- I can find my controller there (labelled "ppm"), but I cannot calibrate. I get the little screen with the x that's supposed to move around but it won't move, as though my tx is not even there.
Any advice?
Thanks
