Tx To Pc Cable Needed

I'd like to build an interface cable to connect my Futaba Tx to my new PC running Win XP Home Edition. Does anyone know where can I find a schematic diagram and instructions ? My old cable is connected through the parallel port and Win XP can't see it.
I want to have a good look at R/C PlaneMaster. I've tried the demo version using keyboard control . . . very limited. But I've seen enough to want to see more. The graphics are better than FMS.
I realize a flight simulator should be considered as a serious tool, but the crash simulations are especially entertaining. And very realistic. I found myself intentionally clipping trees and striking the ground at various angles just to see the physics of the crash.
