I am trying to get FMS to work with my JR TX on Windows ME. The computer is a PIII, 900mhz, 256k. I bought the Hobby Lobby connector (CCM202 Interface Connector for JR transmitters) which plugs into the printer port. I cannot get any response at all from the TX. FMS works fine on the keyboard, just not from the TX. Is the problem the connector? Drivers? Something else? I have searched this site and cannot find any mention of using the HL connector so I thought that might be my problem. Any help would be appreciated!

That interface is sold for and works with the Cockpit Master simulator. I wouldn't expect it to work with FMS. The 2 programs use quite different techniques for reading the interface.

Actually, Cockpit Master supports FMS PIC interface in Backyard Edition XL (or something like this), as far as I know. But that interfaces uses a serial port. So, your CockpitMaster is most likely not an FMS PIC interface...
IMHO, CockpitMaster is a pretty crappy software. R/C Plane Master from
http://www.realitycraft.com/
looks way better. You can download their 7-day demo (full featured sim with only 1 plane and 1 field enabled) and give it a try. It works fine with any TX-to-GamePort interfaces (I tried with the one from www.milehighwings.com).
