Default throttle clicks

What can you do to get rid of the incremental clicks in the Real flite throttle? I've heard about taking the back off and doing something. Filing it maybe. Doesnt feel right.

dont try to take it apart. I tried to after having 2 interlinks fail on me. They're very poorly built pieces of junk held together with gum and paper clips. Why are the clicks a problem exactly?

You open it and remove the little metal piece that makes the "clicks". Very common mod on lots of transmitters. some like the clicks some don't.

Remove the back.

On the throttle stick you will see a metal strap held on by one phillips screw.
Remove the screw.
Turn it over.
Install the screw.

Its not perfect but its pretty darn close. All us heli guys do it.

My purpose is to become a better pilot. since my tx (dx6i) is the opposite, it is counterproductive to use a controller that is so different.
