I have G5 now installed on my computer. I've a windows 7 64 bit computer and 4 gigs of ram.

It seems that the sound kind of goes off after I fly a few models with G5. Also for the first take off with a new airplane, its kind of jerks a bit and after that settles down and no other issues, accept the sound of the engine.

Has anyone else had these or other issues with G5?

This has been a problem with G4.5 and was allegedly fixed in G5. To put it in simple terms; the loading of sound files is halting (ever so momentarily but enough to cause "jitters") the main program and video refresh. Check the knifeedge forums in the G5 and G4.5 for possible solutions.
