Yep, you are the man. Almost ready to send my G-5 back to tower for a refund cause I flat don't understand how to modify things and generally get dual rates and expo. Your direction in dealing with problems is great, and shows its dooable. Would you be so kind as to show how to modify expo. and dual rates for any of the 3D airplanes. I thank you, wife thanks you, dog thanks you, son thanks you, grandchildren thank you, 99 out of the club's 101 menbers thank you. Already killed off two of them for lack of help. ENJOY

I don't know exactly what you want so here is what I got, if you want more just ask.
I used the Yak-54(3D)
1. Open the aircraft you want to edit. Then open it again in the editor. (Pic 1)
2. Expand the Software Radio submenu. (Pic 2)
3. Select the channel you want to edit. (Pic 3)
4. From here you can modify the values for expo and low rates. The higher the number in expo the softer the movement is around center stick. The low rate is a percentage of the full throw on the control surface. High rates are always 100%. I think it is possible to modify the rates more but you would have to tie them into the Idle up switch.(just a guess and I aint trying it).
5. The pic shows the settings modified. I don't fly 3D but I do know a guy that 4000 watt 87" plane that says he flies with like 75% expo and doesn't use Hi/Lo rates. I use 30-50% on my sport planes. (Pic 4)
6. Save it with a new name. (Pic 5 & 6)
7. From then on it will be in custom aircraft. (Pic 7)
I probably over did the instructions but it might help for future reference.-BW

Not overdone, if you had not been so exact, I would still be clicking far into the night, or just still clicking. I think the way expo and D/R within the G5 programming is very poorly done. Reminds me of the Fatuba manuals of years gone by. I went to another brand just for this reason, and have been happy ever since in that regard. Just had a buddy buy one of the $2400. radios, plays music as you fly etc. He spend several weeks with the brands N.Y. head programmers trying to accomplish some complex programming for a twin scale bird. They never got it to work. Took my 6 year old 10X over, added my receiver and had what he needed in about 20 minutes without any Y harness. Am wondering if the Fatuba programmers do not also work for Great Planes?? So now, a guy who truly hates JR has to use one to fly his scale warbird. Don't ya just love it??
Anyway, truly appreciate your time and efforts. Roger M
