A friend of mine let me try out his real flight g-2 for a couple of weeks while he is on vacation, I am going to purchase it when he gets back but I decided to try it out to see if I like it. Unfortunatley he didn't leave me with the Interface contrller. I asumed i could use my Futaba, but after install is done it ask me to connect the interface controller. Is there any way around this?

Yes you are able to use your own controller. But u need to have the interface controller that comes with the software then connect the controller to your radio using the included trainer jack adapter thing

Ok so let me get this right.....I have a interlink cable for my Futaba to connect to the PC. Your telling me you have to connect your own transmitter to the controller that comes with G2? Why would you need both controllers? Let say I plug in the G2 controller the first time to install it then would I be able to use my Futaba? Or will I always need the G2 controller?

The G2 controller IS the interface. All the cable is for is to connect your TX to the G2 controller which then acts as the interface for your TX. I.E. No G2 controller, no flying. sorry dude.
