What do I need to do? I'm the Administrator
Here the error.
"Please run this program from the Administrator account so it can set up your license. Once the license is set up, you can run it from any account."

Only one photo field??? And only two planes - no heli's???? How is that supposed to test my system to determine if I have a computer that will run the sim properly!??
The 3D fields are the most demanding on the System - and the Heli's are the most demanding with regards to flight physics.
Why have a Demo that doesn't test the computer system it's installed on!!??
Very disapointed!!

Actually, the RealFlight G5 Demo includes helis (several variants of the Dominion 3D) and a 3D airport (Boneyard), so you're incorrect on both counts. All the same, very sorry to have disappointed you.

I am having the same exact problem. There is no run as administrator when I right click.

Unless you have a high-end expensive video card don't get G5 or G4.5. Been there done that.
I tried the G5 demo and it ran OK but....
I just installed G5 on my system a few days ago. While AFPD, XLR, G4 and Phoenix work and look great, G5 looks awful and is very jerky (and so did G4.5). Even with all the graphics turned down it is jerky. I know what KE/RF says...Buy a couple hundred dollar video card... but that is not what it says on the box (same problem I had as G4.5). This is the second RF that I hate. G4.5 was IMHO junk compared to G4 and so is G5.
RF G4 was the best sim IMHO.

I just got a new computer with Windows 7, it has an inexpensive video card in it, nVIDIA GeForce G310 with 512 mb memory, I had G4 and just downloaded G4.5, even though its an inexpensive video card G4.5 runs beautifully on it. It doesn't require an expensive video card to run it.

Maybe you are right. I just upgraded my video card. I put all the video settings to high and G5 doesn't gitter too much but the graphics are still worse than Phoenix, AFPD and Reflex.

To answer everyone who is having trouble running the realflight g5 demo, with windows 7 you now have to go right click and then go into the properties, from there you can chose to run the program as an administrator which will make it work. (I had the same problem).

Nice tip, naic7, and welcome to th eRCU forums!
Does anybody know a way to control those planes other than with the keybord?
Any way to tame the response from key inputs?

Vista and Win7 SHOULD(it IS on my Win7) have Run as Admin on the context menu (right click)
XP had it buried in properties.
Check both places, for the properties in Vista and 7 it will be found on the Compatability tab, and this setting is a permanent setting.
