Real Flight on Windows 7
I recently up-graded to windows 7 and couldn't get my Real Flight software to load. I contacted their tech service and one of their techs, Stan, talked me through a very complicated work around to get the program to load. It took 10-15 minutes. Stan was very friendly and helpful. The program works great and I continue to enjoy using it. Thank you Stan and thanks to Real Flight.

The work-around was too convoluted to remember all that had to be done. Stan was at his computer and was going through all the steps as he told me what to do on my computer. We were on the phone for about 15 minutes total. You can reach RF Support from 8AM-7PM, M - F, at (217)398-8970. From the automated menu select option #1 for software support. Great service!

Jim - what flavor of RealFlight? G3, G3.5, G4, G4.5, G5 ??? Also which Win7? Home Premium, Pro, Ultimate?

Btw - I've had installation problems with G3.5 with XP. I wrote down the workaround and it has been successful (and needed) with both Win Vista & 7.

I'm using Real Flight Nexstar EP software. I was using the origional disc that came with my OS 46 powered Nexstar and I asked Real Flight tech service for help. They told me that the early version of the program could not be run on Windows 7 and that I would need the Nexstar EP disc which thet sent me free of charge. I'm running Windows Home [Version 6.1.7600]
