I personally think the best way to beat the wind gusts and/or steady is to let your plane go with the wind in the direction that it's going. If you try to go against it your plane will either stand still in the air, (If the wind is strong enough) or do some funny things to your plane. I recommend not doing too much in the wind because it can also rip your plane apart in real life if you are not careful!!!! So If I want to turn I will turn slowly and that's when you have better control of the plane
