Anyone else feel this way? I cannot reproduce this anomaly on any iteration of G3 with photofields, with the stock aircraft I've tried. Come in too steep, rips the landing gear off the plane and "frags" other pieces. Come-in too fast and don't nail the touchdown, you bounce several times. Come-in too hard while doing elevators or harriers, rips the gear off. I have seen indestructible aircraft (which seem to have have no crash physics) from contributed sources, though. What airfields are you using and what aircraft? Charles |

Ya grass landings will almost always rip the gear off unless you float it in like a balloon. Even then the gear will collaps under the weight of the model. Runway landings are not so bad but they tend to roll forever on the runway with hardly any friction at all.

Try realflight ranch with the E3D. The twinstar does this too. I did find that some planes, like the YAK, behave exactly as yu describe. Apparently this is model dependant. The worst by far are the helis. You can come down really hard and they plant like a gymnast :-) Carl |

Thanks Carl....I'll try those models. I mainly fly the 3D aerobats...prolly the reason I've not encountered the problems!

Can a person adjust the friction in just certain sections of the fields ? I feel there is not enough friction on the runways but the off runway friction is too much.
The landing gear can be strengthened up somewhat to reduce the crushing underlandings. |

if you want your plane to slow down hands off, then use the editor and open the main wheels and up the friction coefficient.
