I found nitro for $50.00 a gallon..Seems steep to me ..what do you all think?

The Southwest bites for getting nitro... You'll find it will cost the same or more to blend your own fuel if you need nitro than it is to buy it.

Skerlock, I bought a gallon of straight nitro for $17.00 here in Illinois. I got it from one of the nitro dragster teams at the drag strip. $50.00 is a bit expensive.
