S&W fuel ?
In my search for a glow fuel supplier I came across S&W fuels in PA USA great prices and not to far away from Ohio, but I've never heard of them let alone used there fuel. I'm just looking for sport fuel for my old Fox, K&B and OS engines none less than 30 years old so I'm looking at 15% nitro with syn/castor lube. While syn lubes can be much better than organic lubes I just don't know how well and all syn lube would do in these made for castor engines so i'll opt for syn/castor blend.
So how good is S&W ??? how are there shipping charges?
Thanks
Jay

I haven’t used S&W myself, but I have ordered oil from them in the past. No complaints. Their synthetic oil is said to be really good (ester-based as opposed to PAG) and they’re friendly to deal with over the phone or by email. They usually use Fedex for shipping - and at least for me, 2-gallons of oil cost $17 to ship from PA to MN. Apparently UPS was more expensive. All in all, you won’t go wrong using their fuel - if using old iron/steel engines, I’d suggest a 50/50 blend of castor/synthetic at least. Using more synthetic oil than that can wipe out the piston seal in a worn engine.
