Medicinal castor oil won't hurt your engine one bit if you're adding a few ounces to a gallon of fuel you already have. The fact that it's not degummed won't hurt anything because you're only adding a few percent to a gallon of fuel.
If you're trying to blend your own fuel, then you must use a degummed castor oil, usually that type is sold as "racing" castor in motorcycle speed shops. Degumming removes products in the oil that will tend to solidify in your engine between teh times you use it. They also will 'cook' onto the engine's internals sooner than other components of the oil.
