Hi Everyone!!!
There is a new fuel on the market called Coopers Custom Blend. I have been flying it for about a year now, but now it is really starting to get known to the Mich. area heli pilots. Brian has been working on this fuel for quite some time now, blends, oil mixtures, ect....... The reason I am writting this is as follows.
On June 22 I was at Al Fuscum fly in (cindy's) any of you there in the morning hours probably saw me dump my vigor into the black top runway. Then later that day I was flying my back up heli. well on the 23rd I had a fly in I went to in WI. As we all know the weather that weekend was HOT. I was having problems with my engine 3 times it leand way out when I took off and all three times locking up the motor. I thought I was for sure going to have to buy another engine. After boom striking on the 3rd time I packed it up and headed home. When I got home I started pulling apart both Viggor CS's. I pulled the motor apart that heated up expecting to see part of the piston on the sleeve. When I got it apart the engine looked fine no scratches, nicks, or scars in the cylinder or piston. After a weeks time and getting all the parts I got both helis back together. I went out to fly them Sat the 29th as expected My viggors flew perfect, but on the second flight of the heli with the engine problem it leand way out again. Now I was getting upset to make this long story short I found it to be my inline fuel filter had failed clogging the line and restricting the flow. I removed it and now it fly's as strong as my primary bird.
I honestly belive that if I was flying any other fuel I would have had to replace the piston sleeve and ring twice. But Coopers custom Blend by far protected my engine as advertised. Thank you Brian for all your long hours and hard work on developing your fuel. I am by far a believer that fuel is the heart of flying. Dependable fuel is a must and I have found it in CCB fuel.

By the way I am flying 30% nitro with 20% synthetic
