Default nitro and fuel consumption

I have my Lazer v-300 in my 5th scale car and will be racing it this weekend. my question is I'm using 30 % nitro and hoping I'm going to make it all the way through with a 50 ounce tank for approximatly 35 minutes. could anyone tell me if they know if there would be a difference eitheir big or small in fuel consumption if I ran say 15% or 5 or 10% nitro instead . thanks for any feedback

There would be a "big" difference if you went to 5% nitro. You may even double your racing time (but at slightly slower pace).

Since + in nitro = more rpm = more fuel consumption = more oil flow = less running time, if you reduce nitro content, the reverse is true (make sure you don't lean it too much due to reduce oil flow).

it goes good , but being the 4 cycle it's taken twice the cc's plus a little to equal or be in the ball park power wise to the modified Zenoahs RC 230 motors. 23 cc VS 50 cc's

But does not the heat go up when the nitro content goes down?

Running less nitro in your fuel will cause a properly-tuned engine to run cooler. Your engine will be developing less power. Less power means less heat.

The key in all of this is "properly tuned".

will the percentage of oil make a difference in performance in an engine. say lower oil percentage better performance.?

Within sensible limits the oil content has no affect on power because you're tuning the carb to regulate ONLY the flow of methanol/nitro. The oil in this case is only along for the ride. Too little oil affects performance because the engine siezes while too much oil could affect the combustion characteristics. Too much in this case probably means about 50%
