i know that everybody gets their methanol at race shops but there arent any around here. I dont need nitromethane because i plan on mixing a 0% nitro 20% oil fuel. any help on where to find some would be appreciated because im tired of paying $15 for a gallon of fuel

I got mine from PKS Kart Shop here in my town. It's a go-kart performance shop and they have them nationwide, not sure exactly where but if you have a kart shop or speed shop they should have them. You really don't save to much money if any at all on making your own fuel.

Methanol for a gallon is $3.** and like 30-50 cents. Cant recall the exact exact amount. Then getting a quart of Blenzol or any quality oil cost me $9.

So I spent $12 pretty much to make my own fuel[&:]. I know you can buy FAI 0% nitro for $10.99 and even cheaper if you buy a case ofr 4 gallon case.

I own a methanol burning racecar in virginia-We buy our fuel at a chemical company 55 gallons at a time for a little less than $2.00 a gallon. I don't know what the minimum purchase is-The point being methanol is sold at chemical suppliers, check out that possibility in your area

I found it!!!!! After a week of phone calls and hours on the net, hours of talking to people, I found a place that sells it. 15.95 for 5 gallons! 4-5$ a gallon compared to 16$ a gallon for fuel. Yes!!!

methonal should onl be 2.50 a gallon may i ask what exactly is 0 % nitro ??

I think that 0% nitro means that he does not plan to use nitro at all.

Check with chemicalplants(those who manufacture washing liquids etc...) for the methanol, they are the only one manufacturing it.

go to a desiel fuel station you can usually buy it there for 25.00 a gallon and they will supply the 5 gal can
