Hi,
I do not live in the US, we can only get 15% Cool Power here
at a rather high price.
Methanol is about 85 cents a gallon here.
I was wondering if it is possible to mix my own 0% using
Klotz oil then mixing this fuel half/half with Cool Power to
get 7.5%.
I guess the only problem would really be the compatibility of
mixing different lubricants together.
Does this sound like it would cause a problem ?

Lennard,
Yes, you can do that.
If you want three gallons of 5% that would probably benefit you your wallet too.
Start with whatever oil blend you want, say 20% would be 25.6oz of Klotz oil or equivilant, then add 102.4 oz of methanol.
Mixing the two together will yield, like you said a 7.5% nitro mix, and 18.5% total oil mix.
making two gallons of 0% and adding the gallon of CP15% will yield you 3 gallons of 5% nitro, 19% oil mix.
don't worry about oil compatability, the klotz and CP oils are completly comaptable even though they are slightly different.

I used to use 4 oz of Klotz oil added to Cool Power fuel to bring the oil content up for helicopter use. It mixes in with no problem at all. Just make sure you use the proper type that is compatable with the Methanol.
