I have a friend that gave me fuel, synthetic 15%, and said he has had it for about a 1 1/2. I has been opened but it is about 3/4 full. Is this fuel to old to use or will I be OK.

Then if the model engine works well in all trottling and easy to start, the fuel are not attacked by moisture, use the fuel until all fuel in the can are empty before you are buying the new fuel can next time.

I did not buy it someone gave it to me. I was told by someone that if you let fuel lay around to long it goes bad, because moister gets in it. I will take you advice and run the engine with that gas and see how it runs. Hopefully it runs good cause it is almost a gallon and that is a lot of flying that I can do with a .46 glow engine.

I have a half gallon or so of Red Max 5% that is @ 30 years old. I run some of it though an engine on the bench from time to time. Seems to run OK.
