I did the same thing wyattroa. I was working at a hobby shop and fell in love with it when it was released and bought one when it hit the shelf. Lasted all of 2 months before I sold it. And youre absolutely right, the guys in the other forum, will bash you to death if you say something bad about the HPI baja. I run mostly FG now since I run for speed only and not bashing but I cant say which is best. I do know that if the HPI had as many aftermarket parts as the FG (hardly any), the HPI wouldnt have lasted as long.
