do they make 1/5 scale mt's??
do they make 1/5 scale mt's and how much do they cost. if not is it hard to make a gas one? i just want to have a huge r/c for fun and want to see what it will cost for one.

LOok around on the forums to find info on making your own, it is not easy, but is very do-able. Use a chain saw engine or a weedwacker engine, the basic frame and suspension design is your first step, all I can say is keep it simple!

i cant afford those costs for a monster truck. ive got a 7000 rpm engine for a goped thats rated at like 5 hp. i may try putting something together sometime with it.

New era is no longer in business making 1/4 scale. MCD has a 1/5 monster truck for $1200 black line. The FG monster truck is around $850 street price. You can make one but you have to decide how to build it. If the FG monster truck is too much don't even consider building a truck. The FG is the least expensive gas monster truck. I know for a fact. I built my own 1/5 monster truck .
