RE: Ibstar
hi ya
yeap got me slicks yesterday, they actually come of a truck, so i have four all the same width
from what i have seen most people put the wider ones on the back.
took it out today to a nice big (private cough) car park
if you think a marder shifts off road wait till you get it on tarmac.
doing 360 spins at over 30mph is cool it was rather wet up here today and aqua planning at these speeds is not fun really
my thumbs were moving about more than when i fly me helicopter
but they are expensive erm about £69 for wide rears and £50 ish for thin fronts trouble is you need new wheels and tyres
i found mine on ebay cost me £60 with postage but they were like new.
i can give you a good shop number up here if you are interested
heres the garden

RE: Ibstar
Ibstar, So you have got the same width whees and tyres front and rear. are they the wider offest?? or just normal.
as i want to get some 'onroad'wheels and tyres for my Marder Race (see [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/Wheels%2C_Tyres_advice/m_2267336/tm.htm]my post[/link]) see some on ebay that look quite good.
if they are the normal offset (not the wider ofset) then what about if i was to get front discs. will the whell still fot over the brakes??
cheers

i think disc would fit fine on what i'm using ther MIGHT be a SLIGHT offset but it is only a few millimeters i'll check for you tomorrow.
i think when you do discs don't you put a slightly longer square ally drive block on ?
illl have a look at the ones on ebay, english ? at let you know

RE: Ibstar
look like silver truck wheels to me
they should fit fine.
they could be slicks that someone has cut a patten into.
£50 for the PAIR ?
look nice and new though.
tarmac fun on its way, saturday off this week so will be out testing all day fingers crossed for dry weather
