So Iv'e now had my FT for three weeks,and been well happy will it in allServos fitted are all Hi tec 1/4 scale for the steering,metal geared and ball raced for the throttle and rear brakeFutaba 4channel 40 meg receiver powered by a 2000mah 6volt battery pack.

First run was on Tarmac lots of rear wheel spin handled quite well but did seem to power slide when in a bendthen had its first roll over without body shell on and snap went the two front body posts[:@][:@].

First mod was to sleeve these over with some alloy tube much strongeralso found that as I had fitted the FG tuned pipe the rear screws had come out of the plastic rear body frame so I also changed these to 4mm alloy bar with a 3mm thread in each end to fit 4 3mm x 45mm set bolts much stronger.

I have now also changed the shock oil all round to make the ride a bit softer handles much better on and off road,I can drop it from 600mm high and it lands without the chassis hitting the tarmac.

I have also fitted some foam inserts in my tyres.

What did you use for Foams. Any of the stuff in the LHS's would require a lot of time to fit right

I had them cut at my local shop ,took in the wheel and tyre they did the rest

I was mooching in my local B+Q and they've got some some foam pipe lagging that looks like it could be cut to fit perfectly..........

Can I ask what shock oil you changed to that allows you drop it from that height? [X(]

Hi FGUK I have used a Hydraulic oil,the foam was cut like a long oblong 540mm long,200mm wide,30mm thick .
