RE: My next RC gas boat project
This was my first cat... I bought from BH hanson RTR with the radio for $1400. then, I bought the 43 inch cat kit from www.aeromarinerc.com still cost me $445 for the hull and harware $350 for the engine and tune pipe and $200 for a radio system with 1/4 scale servo for steering, then i sold um both on ebay because they dont handle good in rough water DEEP VEES are the only way to go!

Giant scale is great! It doesnt matter if it is a boat, car or plane. Too bad it cost so much to have all the cool toys. Well at least thats the only downside of it! My wife thought I was nuts when I built the first plane, Now I have a few of them.
Then I showed her the pictures of the truck and boat, of course I got the WHY CAN'T YOU JUST GET THE LITTLE ONE LIKE OTHER NORMAL PEOPLE.
I just laugh and tell her because I am not normal. LOL

Boats are great too.I had some nitroboats that i played around with, but the nitro stuff is just trouble so i thougt boats was just not for me.
Untill i got my 46" gas Cat.That was a whole new game.
I'm waiting for a new boat actually.A 47" stepped mono with a Homlite in it.When i got the Catamaran, i decided to hang it on the wall in the livingroom for display, that was about the time my girlfriend set the diagnosis for me.....MENTALY UNSTABLE
Anyway, she doesnt know that i have the new bigger boat on the way plus an MT-5.
Jess...im gonna have to book a hotelroom
