The video will be edited later, but for now Im happy with the quality

When I take it offroad, I intend to do the same again.

Is there a codec or player you recommend so I may enjoy these videos? My Windows media player seems to be of the *****tiest quality when it comes to trying to play videos.

The file does not want to play in WinDVD...how did you associate the file to work with it? What version WinDVD do you have?

Try using Windows Media Player. Works good for me.

How did you mount the camera on the MCD? I used double stick servo tape to mount the camera on my F1. People do not realize how great the video can be with those mini-spy cameras. A lot cheaper and lighter to use than one of the small digital cameras or even the X-10. Mount 2 cameras front and rear and switch between the 2 on the receiver and you get even better video. Now all you have to do is tape a race or two with the camera mounted.

Thanks but I think one of my cams is dodgy causing the problem.
For anyone interested I had the cam receiver connected through a USB WinTV to my laptop. Lost the signal whenever the truck went over a bump.

I used a panasonic sv-av20 mini cam cam corder. Had it a few years now.
We used electrians black tape to put it on the car bonet, checked that it had a decent view on the flat screen and off it went.
I did warn the guy with the fg truck to stay well clear of me. Its a pity we wernt in focus when the car was stoped look over at us, you ould have seen me jump as the damn thing came very close to contact.

Mounted one spy camera on the roof of a 1/4 scale stock car held down with duct tape for a whole 50 lap heat race on an oval track. Have a great video of the car T-boning another car. Only problem is that all the video was done either on a camcorder or VCR tape.

RE: Video taken from bonet of mcd
Once I get my MT up and ready to go, I plan to mount the camera inside the body for some out the windshield video. As soon as I find the pictures of a mount used on mini-fast-cars, I'll post it.
